Rabbits Against Magic Hops onto UCLICK® GoComics.com
Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) February 17, 2009 -- Rabbits Against Magic, a comic strip by Jonathan Lemon, is the latest addition to the popular UCLICK site GoComics.com.
Rabbits Against Magic is a daily comic strip featuring two mutant rabbits -- one is a Cyclops, the other wears a superhero costume. Lemon's offbeat creation isn't bound by pesky things like reality.
"I wanted to create a surreal but comfortable world where anything could happen, however absurd, without reality getting in the way of the humor," said Lemon. "I think Rabbits Against Magic has a definite European feel mixed with the great American comic strip tradition."
Originally from Great Britain, Lemon moved to San Francisco in 1992 and has worked as a stand-up comedian, musician and graphic artist. He also briefly lived in Central America where he made cartoon maps for the Honduran Tourism Institute and did illustrations for the United Nations' Global Fund program.
Rabbits Against Magic is not Lemon's first comic strip: He drew a strip called Bigshot from 1997 to 2002, currently draws a weekly cartoon for HybridCars.com, and his political cartoons have appeared in numerous publications on both sides of the Atlantic.
After a successful seven-month run on Comics Sherpa, the Uclick online launch pad for up-and-coming artists, Rabbits Against Magic is moving up to the main stage at GoComics.com.
